On Sunday, the second of September, I was a guest of the Fouji San Ryu, a Nihon Tai Jitsu club that trains in the Academy des Arts Martiaux under the supervision of Philippe Lefranc.

They have a large and beautiful dojo with a lot of light and a real budo atmosphere. I received a warm welcome.
The training season hadn't started yet but there was a nice group on the Sunday morning training session
at 10:00 am. I knew many people from the international trainings of the previous years in le Temple sur
Lot but there were also a couple of new faces.
After my short introduction to the group Phillippe Lefranc started with a warm-up and an active
lesson where people trained seriously. Afterwards I was put in charge of the training. Prior to
training I was asked to do the 'teddybear' technique of the August training in le Temple sur Lot
again. I also showed two other techniques where you started standing up and finished on the ground
with a leglock (I had practiced these techniques with one students during the July training in le
Temple sur Lot). As there was some time left I taught a form of kote-gaeshi.
Of course the training was concluded with the usual group photos:
After the lesson we trained some more with a small group to study the techniques more thoroughly.

In the end there was room for a small chat…
Later that day videos of the training were uploaded on youtube:

It was a successful day that calls for more!
